Discovering Hidden Gems in Moroccan Sahara

Day 1: Bounou – Erg Bougarne

We depart in the morning after breakfast with a caravan of camels and nomads. We cross the Draa Valley, where water is scarce. Lunch is enjoyed in the shade of the Tamarisk trees. The afternoon continues through a stony landscape until we reach the dunes of Bougarne, where we set up camp and enjoy the evening.

Day 2: Erg Bougarne – Erg Esmar

We cross Sidi Tayeb, an area with Tamarisk trees, to reach Erg Esmar, home to the remains of an ancient nomadic village and a well to refresh ourselves.

Day 3: Erg Esmar – Erg Zahar

We traverse the Draa Valley to reach the large dunes of Erg Zahar, walking in the morning to ensure we arrive in time to enjoy the magnificent panorama, with the Algerian border visible in the distance. In the afternoon, we relax in the dunes.

Day 4: Erg Zahar – Sidi Naji

We cross the entire reg of Bousnina to reach Sidi Naji by afternoon, where the tomb of an ancient saint has become a pilgrimage site for nomads.

Day 5: Sidi Naji – Bounou

We head back to Bounou for lunch. Before arriving, we visit the old kasbah of Bounou Village and explore the palm grove.

Days 1 - 4

Along the way, marvel at the majestic scenery of the Cairngorms National Park and visit the picturesque village of Pitlochry. Arrive in Inverness, nestled on the banks of the River Ness, and explore its historic streets and scenic riverfront.

Take on this challenging alpine route in Kananaskis Country, offering panoramic views of the Canadian Rockies, alpine meadows, and turquoise lakes.

Days 5 - 8

Journey west to the Isle of Skye

Days 8 - 10

Travel through the hauntingly beautiful Glencoe

Continue to Fort William, nestled beneath Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the British Isles. Explore the town and enjoy optional outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, or taking a scenic steam train ride on the Jacobite Express.
